Polarcode Workshops

15|05|2024 – Together with the Landesfilmdienst Sachsen e.V. and media educator Britta Senn, we were able to pilot the POLARCODE workshop at 6 Saxonian schools through the Digital School Saxony Initiative funding measure. The workshop consisted of various components and addressed climate change and climate research in the Arctic using digital means, including augmented reality. In addition to “Journey to the Arctic,” which was part of the workshop, the children were also able to build augmented reality scenes themselves and design their own research stations.
