Skandaløs Festival Calling
20|08|2022 – This year there was a very special invitation from the very North: the Skandaløs Festival – which actually was organised in 2019 as a last edition – was revived and started in a new version with this year’s motto “gamification”. The beautiful festival in North Friesland at the border to Denmark came up with great musical acts, workshops, awareness offers, morning yoga sessions and a lovingly designed backdrop directly at the natural bathing lake Hülltofter Tief. With the our arctic demo we became part of the gaming tent that was there for the first time this year. Next to retro consoles and gaming machines, everybody was ablet to take a short trip to the Arctic. A wonderful time at one of the finest festivals in the country. We’d love to come back :)!
Arctic Demo wins XR jury award at kurzsuechtig Filmfestival!
01|07|2022 – Whohooo! The Arktis Demo won the jury prize at this year’s XR competition of the Central German short film festival “Kurzsuechtig e.V.”! Many thanks to the jury and the organizers for the wonderful award!
Heartucate at the Didacta 2022!
21|06|2022 – Together with other startups from the EdTech sector, we were represented with Heartucate at the Didacta 2022 at the Eduvation booth. Here we were able to present our application, make great contacts and get to know other startups from the education sector. Also present were Edurino, Smartest learning, Brainix, tutory and Samsung with the Solve For Tomorrow ideas competition, in which Heartucate was a 2020 prizewinner. We also made it into the Tagesschau briefly, as can be seen here:
Leipziger Modellschule as test school
31|03|2022 – The Leipziger Modellschule is the first school in which the Heartucate format is tested with children. On 30.03., 19 children were sent to the Arctic in five teams of four to help a researcher. The focus was not only on joy and shared experience, but also on important insights for the development team. In a subsequent evaluation, the children’s impressions were collected and documented. Thank you very much for the great welcome!
Final sprint for our Crowdsourcing
06|01|2022 – We are now in the final days for our crowdsourcing, which we are carrying out together with the Crowd Innovation team of the Fraunhofer Institute on the platform for cluster feedback. On the platform we collect ideas from the crowd and the network on the topics of #school, #application contexts, #rewards, #crowd, #funding and #bets. In the meantime, we have received 38 fantastic ideas from the crowd. All participants will receive an invitation to an interactive test event on January 28th, during which our current demo version can be tested and evaluated.

Games Innovation Award Saxony “Best Gamification” 2021!
02|12|2021 – We won the Games Innovation Award Saxony in the “Best Gamification” category !! Many thanks to the jury and for the great organization Games & XR Mitteldeutschland e.V.! From next year we will be part of the startup cohort around the newly emerging Gaming Hub Center R42 in Leipzig, which was launched by Gecko Two GmbH. The aim of the hub is to place gaming in the center of the city and to create an experience center. We are very happy that we can be there!
